Below left, a view to the highway from the southtower, taken in 1979.   Virtually the same view, below right, in 2007.

A few more views of the castle, all three taken in 2007.  The one on the upper left was taken from the camping ground below Reichenstein castle.  Note the satellite dish at the bottom of the photo!  The one above and on the left were taken from a Rhein cruise boat.

Below left, a photo of the crpyt BELOW the chapel, where the remains of four members of the Prussian Royal family now rest.  You can work your way down to it along a narrow stair.

Lower right, a photo of one of the rooms left as the Hecher family found it in the early 1970s when they purchased the castle.  They have purposely left this room as is so a visitor can see in what condition the castle was before restoration work.

Lower left, some of the authentic artifacts found on the castle grounds.  Prominent among them are pieces of decorative columns.
